Giovanna (Giovanna Mezzogiorno) is stuck in a graying marriage. One day she and her husband meet an old man in a state of confusion. He’s a Jewish survivor of the Holocaust and they take him home, caring for him. As she starts to reflect on her life, she begins an affair with the man who lives across the street from her house.
There is only one nude scene in the film, unfortunately. In the 18th minute, Giovanna Mezzogiorno is in bed with her partner. He starts kissing her, she reciprocates, takes off her shirt, and they have sex.
