Who is Jack Reacher? A literary character invented by Lee Child, star of numerous novels, two films, and this TV series. Born on a military base, he enlisted in the army and joined the military police, reaching the rank of major. War hero, highly decorated, he leaves the army at 36 and becomes a wanderer, walking around the United States. The first season of the television series tells the facts narrated in the first novel, Killing floor.
